Black Panther Director, Ryan Coogler, Arrested After Being Mistaken For Bank Robber


American movie director, Ryan Coogler, who directed the hit movie, Black Panther, was arrested at a bank by the police in the U.S after he was mistaken for a bank robber.

The 35-year-old was arrested briefly in January, 2022, after trying to withdraw $12,000 (£9,100) from the Atlanta bank, TMZ reported.

The teller had reportedly told her boss she suspected an attempted robbery after misinterpreting the situation.

However, the movie director said Bank of America had since, “worked with me and addressed it to my satisfaction and we have moved on.
