Amber Rose on Sunday took to Instagram to distance herself from a nearly-seven-year-old tweet in which she predicted ex Kanye ‘Ye’ West would be humiliated by the Kardashian family after his relationship with Kim Kardashian was over.
In the February 2015 tweet, Rose wrote, ‘@kanyewest I’ll leave that up to the Kardashians to humiliate u when they’re done with u.'
The 38-year-old socialite on Sunday took to her social media page to clarify her stance on the tweet, which went viral amid recent problems between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in the wake of their split.
‘Man F*** that old ass tweet I never got an apology for his 30 showers comment but f*** it,’ said the Philadelphia native, referring to a derogatory remark West made in 2015 on The Breakfast Club claiming he had to take 30 showers after his split with Rose.
The How To Be A Bad B**** author referred to her feminism-driven Slutwalk marches as a platform to assist ‘millions of women around the world stand up to themselves against Slut shaming so something amazing came out of it.’
Rose said that ‘Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet’ in 2015, ‘and y’all shouldn’t co-sign that either,’ saying it was an immature move to ‘involve the KarDASHians in the mess [West] made.’
Rose – who’s mom to eight-year-old son Sebastian with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa; and two-year-old son Slash with music exec Alexander Edwards – said that ‘moving forward’ she aims to ‘learn from [her] mistakes’ as she just wants ‘to spread love and positivity.’
