The body of late Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of 'SpongeBob SquarePants' Nickelodeon's most popular animation has been cremated; he has been burnt with his ashes scattered at the sea.

His ashes went specifically at least 500 yards off the coast of California.

And now it has been revealed that he had after suffering a heart failure, a disease which he had been battling since 2017.
