Gwyneth Paltrow Sued for $3.1 Million Following 'Hit and Run Ski Crash' Which Left Doctor Badly Injured

Gwyneth Paltrow is being sued after allegedly seriously injuring a doctor in a 'hit and run ski crash'.

A doctor named Terry Sanderson has filed a lawsuit over the alleged incident at Deer Valley Resort in Utah, USA, three years ago.
The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, is also against ski instructor Eric Christiansen.
Dr Sanderson claims that on February 26, 2016, he was hit from behind by an out-of-control skier, "knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries."
He claims the skier was Gwyneth, who "got up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, seriously injured".
The lawsuit claims: "A Deer Valley ski instructor, who had been training Ms Paltrow but who did not see the crash, skied over, saw the injured Sanderson and skied off, falsely accusing Sanderson of having caused the crash.
"He also failed to send help, as he was obligated to do," reports Deseret News .
The doctor claims Gwyneth, who was on a beginner run, was skiing "out of control", "too fast for her ability" and "was distracted".
The lawsuit says: "Gwyneth Paltrow knew it was wrong to ski out of control too fast for her ability … but she did it anyway."
