Away from the Cheryl dating rumours, Michael B. Jordan has revealed he battled some real problems after filming Black Panther.

So much that he had to see a therapist because the role took a heavy toll on his mental health.

After playing villain Erik Killmonger, Michael revealed that he found himself going out of his way to isolate himself.

Speaking on the Bill Simmons podcast, Jordan said: “It was one of those things that, I didn’t know what was going on. I never was in a character for that long of a period of time and was I guess that dark, that lonely, that painful so coming out of you know I thought, ‘Oh yeah, business as usual, I just go back home, you know, I’ll cut my hair off and, you know, everything will be back to normal’. But I found myself kind of in the routine of being isolated and went out of my way to make sure I was by myself and didn’t say too much, more than usual.”
He added: “Once I got finished wrapping the movie, you know, it took me some time to talk through how I was feeling and why I was feeling so sad and, like, depressed.”
Responding to Simmons’ question over whether he sought professional help, Jordan said: “I talked to a therapist a few times.”
