#MCB; English Premier League; Chelsea or Liverpool? The Battle For Top Four Finish

The English perimer league top four race is, more or less, over. Chelsea's inability to capitulazied against smaller teams and Arsenal's inability to do a good job away from home means that Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Liverpool are likely to finish in the top four, unless a big upset occured at Merseyside when Liverpool play against fourteenth-placed Brighton.

Unlike other teams, Brighton are not fighting for survival. This means that Brighton won't defend for their lives; actually the match against Liverpool opens up the possibility of them experimenting, playing squad players, and looking at next season.
Let's take a look at the Chelsea game versus Newcastle, it’s always a hard fixture. But, similar to Brighton, Newcastle have nothing to play for. Newcastle great talent has been the source keeping them up for a second season after a rather surprising relegation.
But Chelsea are still far the better side. After resting key players against Huddersfield, Olivier Giroud and Eden Hazard will be recall to go up against the Magpies, both of them being truly concerned about Champions League places and ready to do all they can. If Tiemoue Bakayoko finds his rhythm, he is the best possible partner for the ever-energetic N'Golo Kante.
And this could be the perfect game for him to start, find his rhythm, play with confidence, earn a start in the FA Cup Final, but as a Manchester United fans i won’t want him to play against my team.
Chelsea players will be eager to prove themselves worthy of a start in the FA Cup final against Manchester United, or a place in their national teams for the World Cup. If nothing else, they will be aiming to give their boss Conte a send-off, which i think might be his last premier league match for the blues.
On the other side Brighton are in a good run of form, having beaten Manchester United and scored at the Etihad stadium, something Chelsea haven't managed to do this season.  Klopp on the other hand will have one eye on the Champions League final, and could possibly rest the likes of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Another important thing to notice in the match against Brighton is how Salah will be breaking the record of most goals scored in a season. If Liverpool's game plan is to try and help him achieve this, it might not work out too well for them.
Finally, a top four finish means a lot to Chelsea, but let’s keep our hands cross and watch the outcome of the final matches tomorrow as the Premier League comes to an end.
