Manchester United Ex Boss, Alex Ferguson Wakes From Coma

On Saturday morning, Sir Alex Ferguson, 76, collapsed in his home, which prompted an emergency brain surgery to stem a devastating brain haemorrhage.

The ex-Manchester United boss suffered a near-fatal stroke on Saturday morning and was rushed to hospital for a life-saving operation before being put under an induced coma by doctors, in the hope his brain will recover from the shock.
There is yet to be an official update on Sir Alex’s condition, however friends close to the international sporting legend delivered positive news and said he has been "sitting up talking and asking about his results."
A source added to The Sun: “The prognosis is good and his closest friends in football are being kept abreast of any developments.”
The ex-Scotland manager was transferred to intensive care following the operation, after he collapsed at his Cheshire home.
Medical professionals have said that the coming weeks will be vital for the former Manchester United Manager’s recovery.
