Poor Ariana Grande Was Forced To Pull Out of BRIT Awards Due to a Very Severe Illness

Ariana Grande was forced to pull out of her scheduled performance at Wednesday night’s Brit Awards on doctors’ orders.

The 24-year-old singer had been due to take to the stage at London’s O2 Arena to perform a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the bombing at Manchester Arena last year.

However, she pulled out at the last minute, leaving bosses struggling to draft in a replacement.

Now it has been revealed that Ariana was in fact struck down with illness, and was so poorly that her doctors said she was too ill to fly, let alone perform.

“Ariana desperately wanted to come – she was so ill but she still wanted to get on the plane,” a source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper.

“Her doctor told her that she couldn’t perform, there was no question.
“She wasn’t even allowed to get on the plane – that’s how ill she was. She’s at home resting now but she’s devastated to miss it.”

Ariana has yet to comment on her absence on her social media pages. However, she hasn’t actually posted on her Twitter or Instagram pages since December.

Former Oasis star Liam Gallagher took to the stage in her place, singing anthem Live Forever in memory of the 22 people who lost their lives in the bomb attack at the end of an Ariana gig.

As he introduced Liam to the stage, fellow Mancunian Gary Barlow said: “In a tribute to the people who we so sadly lost that day, but who always live on forever in our hearts, mind and memories, please welcome onstage Liam Gallagher.”

The pair also performed at the One Love Manchester charity concert Ariana and her manager Scooter Braun organized two weeks after the bomb attack.

The musical event at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground featured performances from acts including Liam, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Chris Martin and Miley Cyrus.

The concert and other charitable efforts raised more than $13 million for a victims’ fund.
